A Place of Hope

Welcome to Proximity UMC, a United Methodist Church located in Greensboro, North Carolina.  Founded near a former textile mill, we are a small congregation, dwelling in proximity to the rich legacy of our community’s past and on the threshold of opportunity in our diverse community’s present.  Above all, we strive to live in close proximity to Christ’s heart and mission.  Join us as we grow spiritually through worship, fellowship, and service.

​Proximity UMC's traditional service meets at 9:45 a.m. in the sanctuary every Sunday, except on the last Sunday of each month, when we hold a contemporary service in the fellowship hall.
